Carnaval is a unique long party. It used to only be a day or two. Now it lasts from early Feburary to the middle of March. It is a fun party that consists of performances, most are accompanied by band music. Most of the time they mock current events and politics/politions. They also show business to advertise them. The performers dress in bright, flowing outfits and are often accompanied by drummers. The performers aren't always professionals. They can be dentists, bankers, bakers, fishers, ect. etc.
